History and Teaching

About Humanities and Social Sciences
The educational goal of the Division of Humanities and Social Sciences, in addition to helping students foster expertise in their majors, is to educate them to grow into intellectuals equipped with a comprehensive understanding of humanity and the world.
Along with these basic missions, several research and education centers the Counseling Center, the Science Culture Research Center, the Postech Language Education Center and the Center for Korean Composition, are under operation with the support of the Division. These centers provide valuable resources to Postech, boosting the quality of its education.

History

  • 1986 Established and first entitled the Division of General Education
  • 1999 Title was changed to the Division of Humanities and Social Sciences
